BTECH is looking for a Financial Statements Department Manager to join our Finance team.
In this role, you will lead the Group financial reporting function, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements across all business entities.
You will oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, financial consolidations, audit coordination, regulatory compliance, and financial controls while supporting strategic business decisions.
You will work closely with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and IFRS, while driving process improvements and reporting excellence across the Group.

Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
Ensure compliance with EAS, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits and inspections.
Oversee accounting treatment for revenue recognition, inventory, provisions, and consumer financing programs.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor financial controls and drive reporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
Lead and develop a team of financial reporting and accounting professionals.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, CMA, ACCA, ESAA, or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
8–12 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Minimum 5 years of experience within a reputable audit firm.
Experience within Retail, FMCG, Distribution, or Consumer Durables sectors is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of EAS, IFRS, consolidation, and financial reporting standards.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage tight reporting deadlines.
