Description
- Manage and administer Jira and Confluence instances, including tasks such as user management, project setup, and configuration.
- Customize Jira workflows, screens, fields, and permission schemes to align with and support business processes.
- Create and configure Jira dashboards, boards, and filters for better project status visibility and progress reporting.
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting for Jira users, resolving issues and escalating them when needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features and functionalities in Jira.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and security of the Jira environment.
- Stay informed about the latest Jira and Confluence developments and features, and provide recommendations to improve processes and enhance tools.
- Create and maintain documentation related to Jira administration and user guides.
- Provide Jira users with training and support on best practices and usage guidelines.
Requirements
+ Holder of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience as a
Jira administrator.
+ Proficient in working with Jira Core, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management.
+ In-depth knowledge of Jira workflows, permissions, schemes, and configuration.
+ Experience in the management and configuration of Confluence is considered advantageous.
+ Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy) for customization and automation.
+ Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum and Kanban boards.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders and end-users.
