About the job Moodle Developer

Responsibilities:


  • Customize and extend Moodle functionality using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Develop custom plugins, modules, and themes for Moodle to enhance its features and usability.
  • Integrate Moodle with other systems and tools, such as content management systems, student information systems, and authentication systems.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to create engaging and interactive e-learning experiences.
  • Optimize Moodle performance and scalability to ensure a smooth user experience for learners and administrators.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Moodle, including bug fixes, performance optimization, and system upgrades.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in e-learning technology and instructional design.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing and customizing Moodle-based learning management systems (at least two years).
  • Proficiency in PHP programming language and experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with database management systems, particularly MySQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with other e-learning platforms or educational technologies is a plus.
