Responsible for designing and executing load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing strategies while identifying bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
Works closely with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Development teams to validate production readiness, optimize system performance, and support high-availability cloud deployments within Azure and AKS environments.
Job Responsibilities Lead enterprise performance engineering efforts to ensure scalability, stability, and reliability of systems across cloud and hybrid environments Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies including load, stress, spike, and endurance testing Identify performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure components Analyze system performance metrics and provide actionable tuning recommendations Validate system behavior under high-traffic and high-volume transaction scenarios Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Development teams to ensure production readiness Monitor and evaluate performance in Azure cloud and AKS (Kubernetes) environments Utilize monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Application Insights, Azure DB Metrics, and container monitoring solutions Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, Akamai CloudTest, and Azure Load Testing Support CI/CD integration for automated performance testing pipelines Perform root cause analysis for performance issues and production incidents Create and present performance reports, dashboards, and recommendations to stakeholders Lead, mentor, and coach offshore performance engineering team members Ensure adherence to performance engineering best practices and standards across projects Support production releases by validating system scalability and readiness Key Skills Performance and scalability testing Distributed systems and API architecture Azure cloud and Kubernetes (AKS) Performance metrics analysis and tuning CI/CD and automated performance pipelines Troubleshooting and root cause analysis Lead , coach and Mentor Performance Engineer staff offshore Primary Tools Apache JMeter Akamai CloudTest Azure Load Testing Azure Application Insights Azure DB Metrics AKS Container Monitoring PowerShell Monitoring Scripts Nice to Have Mortgage or FinTech industry experience Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and high-volume transaction systems
