Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Procurement Engineer


to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team for one of our major projects in Egypt.

What you will need to do:


• Handle the procurement of technical goods and services required for the project.
• Prepare inquiry packages, source suppliers/subcontractors, issue inquiries, evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements, and participate in negotiations.
• Coordinate required deliveries while ensuring compliance with agreed schedules, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, services, and related documentation.
• Follow up logistics activities, shipment/delivery processes, warehousing activities, and shipping documentation.
• Apply Incoterms rules and shipping terms effectively throughout the procurement cycle.
• Ensure strict compliance with the company’s IMS Procedures, Policies, and Work Instructions.
• Support tendering activities by providing the required procurement documents and maintaining standard procurement templates.
• Assess and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Manage multiple procurement packages/projects while meeting competing deadlines.


What you will need to have:


• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or Architecture Engineering is preferred).
• 3–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction field.
• Previous experience in engineering, procurement, and project operations.
• Solid experience in dealing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of logistics, warehousing, shipping processes, and procurement procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems and excellent MS Office skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
