Job Responsibilities


  • Oversee Contract Compliance and Performance: Ensure vendors adhere to contractual agreements by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and addressing any deviations promptly.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Conduct market research to identify industry standards, cost drivers impacting pricing, and supply chain trends. Leverage this knowledge to optimize procurement strategies.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing plans to identify and qualify new domestic and international vendors that offer superior quality, competitive pricing, and favorable credit terms, all aligned with company goals.
  • Streamlined Vendor Management: Collaborate effectively with the Finance Department on matters like payments and invoicing.
  • End-to-End Order Management: Oversee the entire purchase process, from order confirmation received from the supplier to arrival notification.
  • Logistics Coordination: Facilitate smooth transportation by liaising with the logistics department for booking and documentation.
  • Supplier Communication: Review and provide feedback on shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Vendor Onboarding and Development: Implement a process for sourcing, selecting, and onboarding new vendors, including conducting trial requests to evaluate their capabilities.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications.
