Job Summary:

As a Senior Film Editor, you will bring our commercial videos to life through advanced video editing techniques. You will collaborate closely with our creative teams and clients to transform raw footage into compelling and impactful final products. Your expertise in film editing, coloring skills, and commercial experience will be crucial in delivering high-quality videos that meet our client's objectives and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Video Editing: Utilize your advanced video editing skills to craft visually stunning and engaging commercial videos. Seamlessly integrate footage, audio, graphics, and effects to create a cohesive and impactful final product.
• Coloring and Grading: Apply your expertise in coloring and grading techniques to enhance the visual aesthetics, mood, and tone of videos. Ensure consistency across shots and maintain the desired look and feel.
• Storytelling: Collaborate with creative teams to understand the project's vision and objectives. Use effective editing techniques, pacing, and sequencing to bring the story to life.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and feedback. Incorporate client revisions and ensure their satisfaction with the final product.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client expectations. Organize and maintain project files, assets, and documentation.
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest editing software, plugins, and techniques. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for workflow improvements.
• Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality standards in all deliverables, including video resolution, audio clarity, color accuracy, and overall visual impact.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Mentor junior editors and guide editing techniques, storytelling, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Extensive experience as a film editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in commercial video editing.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing Adobe Apps, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effect.
• Advanced skills in coloring and grading techniques, using software such as DaVinci Resolve or Adobe SpeedGrade.
• Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, and editing principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to client requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative teams and clients.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and emerging industry trends.
