Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our remote team. You’ll act as a key player in the delivery of creative designs, key visuals and ideas across social Always-On, digital platforms and OOH.You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate client requirements into captivating designs. A deep understanding of social media and design trends, platform specifications, and the ability to create visually appealing and shareable content is a must. You’re a creative thinker, able to bring ideas to life visually and creatively across multiple platforms 🎨Responsibilities
- Social Media Content Creation: Own the creation of visually compelling graphics for social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and others.
- Campaign Design: Lead projects and bring to life ideas and concepts through eye-catching and meaningful designs and campaign ideas. In line with the brand’s identity and purpose in both Arabic and English.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, while maintaining a high standard of quality and meticulous attention to detail.
- Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Project Management:Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
- Engagement Optimisation: Create designs that encourage interaction, engagement, and sharing, helping to grow our clients’ social media following.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to create innovative and relevant content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the social media managers, creative, and client servicing teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Quality Control and Review: Conduct thorough reviews of all design work to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy and ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Foster feedback: Be open to giving and receiving feedback to help improve the quality, speed and effectiveness of the team and output.
Experience & Competencies
- Experience: Proven track record of professional graphic design experience in the MENA region over the past 5 years, with a focus on social media content. Additionally, extensive experience in Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising, demonstrating proficiency in versioning of print files to ensure consistency and adaptability across various formats and dimensions.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing design projects across social media, digital and OOH.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Must understand the process of working with motion graphic designers. Illustration skills are a plus.
- Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their design specifications, and best practices.
- Creativity: The ability to lead on projects from concept to delivery. A keen eye for aesthetics and details, with a strong sense of creativity and originality. Curious, always exploring new trends and ideas. Assessing your work and finding ways to improve.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. Approachable, willing to help and inspire others.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentorship abilities with experience guiding and developing junior designers.
- Time Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and feedback.
