Senior Specialist - Product Management Cross border Services - EgyptOverview
The senior Specialist, Product Management, Network Partnerships Cross Border Payments will have direct oversight of the Mastercard Cross Border Services (MA XBS) partner network, comprised of partners such banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) in Egypt. Manages existing direct/indirect connections to clearings and partner relationships, while also expanding the network in line with the strategy and product objectives.
Responsibilities
Handle all MA XBS network partnerships and connectivity into Egypt and GCC countries.
Participate in driving the expansion and improvement of the MA XBS Egypt network and an overview of GCC network in line with the company’s strategy.
Identify opportunities for direct participation in payment schemes in collaboration with the relevant Mastercard Transaction Services teams and support in the execution of the related projects.
Support the regional stakeholders and the Transfer Solutions commercialization team for market development.
Navigate across cultures and geographies and leverage strong relationships with key groups across Mastercard to gain support and buy-in from regional stakeholders.
Be responsible for collecting and following up all due diligence related matters and onboarding documentation.
To be aligned with MA XBS strategy to develop cash payout methods in country and ensure a smooth inspection of multiple branches and agencies around the country.
Build relationship management with existing partners and be aware of all marketing strategy applied with partners and inspect on any branding and communication matters. Follow up financial and operational performance.
Coordinate between partners and internal stakeholders for any partnership related matters to ensure consistency and repeatability across projects.
Stay up to date with relevant payment (scheme) evolutions and trends in the covered region and understand the market dynamics/changes.
Experiences
Has at least 5 years of work experience in cross-border remittances, banking, fintech or payments industry.
Experience in relationship/account management is a must.
Understand Egypt Market and GCC countries markets is desirable.
Exposure in international payments, foreign exchange, cash management, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
Can easily communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
Exposure in building organizational relationships, partnering with, and influencing executive leadership while ensuring the respect of the individual product practitioners across the organization.
Knowledge of payment systems, schemes, and structures is desirable.
Ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy.
Strong communication skills; verbal, written, and presentational.
Strong product and problem-solving acumen.
Proven sales, negotiation, communication skills.
Team player, comfortable working in a large matrix organization, willing to lead, build consensus.
Determined to get things done in time.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where rapid or sudden changes are not unusual.
