Job Description

Overview of the role

To maintain and implement the visual display in stores ensuring that the most effective VM guidelines are used for promotional displays and features. To make the most effective use of resources and manpower.

What you will do

  • Ensure that the floor layout always looks customer friendly, keeping into account the principles guidelines.
  • Ensure uniformity of fittings, hangers and signages used as per agreed guidelines.
  • Plan and execute the visual requirements / instore props for all the stores prior to the season launch, in coordination with the Principles VM & territory marketing.
  • Plan and execute the Show windows for all the store as per the principles guidelines before the season launch date.
  • Plan and execute the season launch VM and follow up for the stocks with the Inventory dept.
  • Ensure that the floor VM is as per the guidelines given in the VM docket.
  • Proactively improvise the look of the floor to ensure freshness based on merchandise movement.
  • Ensure that the updates from the Principles, to the VM docket are implemented promptly.
  • Ensure that the floor look is not majorly affected during the sale and improvise the VM to suit the commercial requirements of the business.
  • Plan & execute the Sale signage requirements of the territory.
  • Ensure that proper schedules for VM of the brand are maintained & implemented.
  • Do regular VM checklists and ensure that the staff follow the VM principles.
  • Do regular competition visits to understand the latest trends in the market and adapt them for our stores in consultation with the Principles VM.
  • Send regular updates on the stores to the VM Manager.
  • Groom, Coach / train the Visual coordinators on the floor.
  • Liaise with the Store Manager / In store VM and take into consideration the commercial requirements of the business.
