Software Tester Specialist

Job Objective:

You will be working with Quality team members to drive testing on BSS & Enterprise application, (ERP,

HR, etc...). You will complement development-based testing (Unit & Integration) by providing additional

test layers including component, end-to-end, system and exploratory. We are looking for someone with

a passion for doing the right thing the right way.

Job duties & Responsibilities

· Create, review and execute automated / manual test cases

· Analyze function design and/use cases/requirements.

· Collaborates with members of development in efficient and effective ways.

· Troubleshoot and write a clear/detailed bug reports

· Conduct functional testing based on functional specification documents, test cases and scenarios

and document test results.

· Serves as the lead on the Testing Activities of the project.

· Simulate bugs reported by clients and document test results and observations

· Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

· Perform Statistical Analysis & Defect Management to produce Fault Reports, Testing Status &

Schedule Report, Root Cause Analysis, Weekly Status Report and Monthly Project summary Report.

· Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

· Adhere to all HSE company policies & procedures.

· Attend required HSE trainings.

Qualifications (Education & Work Experience):

Education: B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related education

Language: Arabic and English

Reporting Structure

· Min 2+ years of experience in software testing field.

· Strong hands-on experience in one or more of open source tools of Automation, performance & security testing. non-functional testing (security, performance) is a plus

· Good knowledge of SQL, experience with any database management system · Good understand of QA and Agile development processes

· Experience with defect tracking systems. · The ability to deliver on time with quality and also handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Good knowledge of the SDLC. · Certified ISTQB-FL.

· Experience in Test web services and APIs · Self-starter, self-motivated, Creative and able to integrate new libraries, concepts, and processes.

· Ability to read and comprehend requirements.

· Ability to analyze defects.
