Job Overview Integrant is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Storage Engineer to join our team and play a key role in managing our data storage infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DDN and VAST storage solutions, as well as a strong understanding of storage area networks (SANs) and network attached storage (NAS).
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of storage administration, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
This is a customer-facing position.
Responsibilities • Design, deploy, configure, and operate high-performance storage solutions using either WEKA or VAST to meet application performance, scalability, and availability requirements.
• Build and support scale-out storage platforms for HPC and AI/ML workloads.
• Install, configure, and maintain storage systems aligned with architectural standards and customer needs.
• Provision and manage storage resources, including file systems, volumes, snapshots, and quotas.
• Configure and manage storage pools and data services within WEKA or VAST environments.
• Implement and maintain data protection strategies, including snapshots, replication, and backup integrations.
• Monitor storage performance, health, and capacity utilization; proactively identify and address bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues across distributed storage environments.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
• Collaborate with compute, networking, and platform teams to support end-to-end infrastructure operations.
• Document storage architectures, configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting runbooks.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and respond to storage-related incidents.
• Stay current on WEKA and VAST product updates, as well as broader storage industry best practices.

• 10+ years of experience administering enterprise, cloud, or high-performance storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with either WEKA or VAST storage platforms in production environments.

g., DDN, Pure, NetApp) is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of scale-out storage architectures and high-performance file systems.
• Solid knowledge of storage access protocols such as NFS, SMB, and parallel file system concepts.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills.
• Experience monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting performance-sensitive workloads.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting HPC, AI/ML, or data-intensive workloads.
• Familiarity with GPU-accelerated environments and large-scale compute clusters.
• Experience with storage performance benchmarking and capacity planning.
• Scripting or automation experience (e.
g., Python, Bash).
• Exposure to cloud storage concepts or hybrid storage architectures.
• Experience with IT service management tools (e.
g., TopDesk) is a plus.
