Job Description

Responsibilities
1. Organize and oversee simulations of international diplomacy such as Model United 
Nations (MUN), and Arab League (AL), including managing logistics, securing guest 
speakers, facilitating committee sessions, and providing support to student delegates.
2. Plan and execute conferences that bring together students from different cultures and 
backgrounds such as the International Student Association Conferences (ISAC), 
including organizing keynote speakers, workshops, cultural showcases, and networking 
opportunities.
3. Organize Arts and Cultural Festivals that showcase various forms of visual and 
performing arts, such as music concerts, dance performances, theater productions, and 
art exhibitions.
4. Develop and organize students’ orientation, welcome events, and graduation 
ceremonies in collaboration with respective departments
5. Coordinate and manage sports tournaments and leagues catering to a range of 
interests and skill levels. This includes organizing competitions, scheduling matches, 
managing facilities, and promoting sportsmanship and fair play.
6. Design and implement programs that foster leadership skills and personal growth 
among students such as leadership development programs. This may include 
workshops, seminars, and retreats focused on leadership development, team building, 
and communication skills.
7. Organize community service programs and initiatives. This may involve partnering 
with local organizations, planning volunteer opportunities, and promoting a culture of 
civic engagement.
8. Plan and execute a diverse range of social and cultural events that cater to students' 
interests and preferences. This may include themed parties, movie nights, cultural 
celebrations, and campus-wide festivals.
9. Organize outdoor adventures and trips that provide students with opportunities for 
recreation, exploration, and personal development. This may involve planning hiking 
trips, camping excursions, cultural tours, and outdoor team-building activities.


10. Provide guidance and support to student organizations, including advising student 
government, clubs, and associations.
11. Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and satisfaction, 
including surveys, focus groups, and feedback mechanisms.
12. Collaborate with academic departments to integrate co-curricular activities into the 
overall student experience.
13. Serve as a resource and advocate for students, addressing their concerns and 
connecting them to appropriate support services.
14. Supervise and mentor a team of student life professionals and support staff.
15. Stay current with trends and best practices in student life and higher education and 
apply innovative strategies to enhance the student experience.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree
2. 7-15 years of progressive experience in student affairs/student life or a related field.
3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a 
diverse team.
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse 
backgrounds.
6. Knowledge of local and international cultures, with sensitivity to the needs and 
experiences of international students.
7. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to support student events and activities.


8. Proficiency in English & Arabic business languages.
