Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures: Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
Day- to-day Operations:
Supervises the day-to-day operations of Treasury to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures.
Assist in Input transactions in the treasury management system and maintain the blotter up-to-date and accurate (Treasury revenue detail, including computer and ledger forms when appropriate by using Oracle)
In liaison with the Finance and Operations department provide input into the payments system of the bank and ensure the execution of the payment.
Cash Management & Banking
Assist the Treasury Department Manager by handling & preparing month-end treasury reporting, manage the cash transactions along with the loans and overdrafts in addition to the reviewing of the bank reconciliation.
Update the cash-management reports and daily liquidity reports that are provided by the department.
Prepare the Cash position for the BU and Ensure there's a sufficient balance for all payments.
Prepare the Bank Brief sheet for all bank transactions.
develop an automated daily corporate cash reporting and management tool, produce a daily consolidated cash position report, and prepare month-end journal entries to assist in providing data for the top management.
Handle documentation and payment of Raw Material Vessels with the bank & confirm on the supplier facilities amount and rate if any.
Bank Facilities Management
Assist in improving the process by providing a listing of all wide banks to select the best option that maximizes gains and choose from various services to achieve it.
Update and maintain up to date all books kept by the department: borrowings, bank facilities loans / overdraft transactions and control the Drawdowns and pay-off on its due dates to secure the cash and minimize the interest rate.
Reviewing all incoming / issuing letter of guaranteed conditions / expiries to secure the company rights.
Reviewing all incoming / issuing letter of credit conditions / terms to secure the company rights.
Review all banks charges and fees deducted.
Gather and compile documentation required for the renewal of all bank facilities and provide it to the banks.
