Join the team and will be working for AIS IR Product Development driving Automation, migration and optimization based business initiatives.


Job Summary
As an Alternative Fund Services Investor Relations – Associate you will be working with the team responsible for AIS IR Product Development, and will be involved in vendor governance, IR  investment planning, migration and automation projects. Candidate will be involved in all key projects that comes to Product development to build solutions. 


Job Responsibilities


  • Work with the global product team to come up with a standard client offering for Mantra Fee Analytics.
  • Automate complex fee calculations, including performance fees, management and trade fees, trail commissions, taxation calculations, clawbacks, hurdles and waterfalls.
  • Work on PERES client migration on Mantra.
  • Provide support to Mantra web to resolve any reported issues.
  • Work on Mantra system for implementation including requirement drafting, operating models, test approach, and migration plans.
  • Liaise with third party technology provider to ensure optimal use of technology.
  • Evaluate technology training needs of AIS staff and devise adequate training programs to ensure effective technology usage.
  • Support Sales and Client Services for clients for pitches.
  • Enthusiasm & Influence: Drive and influence change within an Operations and Technology environment.
  • Organization & Planning: Track and monitor multiple deliverables and give clarity and direction to all stakeholders.
  • Controls: Ensure appropriate adherence to Risk and Control policy and put appropriate risk mitigation in place.
  • Communication Skills: Adapt communication style according to audience and occasion while being clear and unambiguous in conveying the message. Ability to influence and manage stake holders is a key.
  • Proven verbal and written skills for updates as required to senior management including overall governance (milestone tracking and reporting, monthly and quarterly achievements) and call reports.

  Required Qualifications and Characteristics:


  • Bachelor’s degree required (business discipline preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with prior experience in alternative funds (Hedge, Hybrid, & Private Equity background).
  • Knowledge & expertise of Mantra  a product of Deep Pool financial solutions.
  • Strong financial and analytical skill set.
  • An ability to work in teams distributed across the globe and travel to onshore offices
  • Specific experience supporting fund administration.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact at all levels (both internal and client) .
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, comfortable with responsibility.
  • Strong at building relationships across teams.
  • Proven good judgment, particularly with prioritizing your own workload – including managing multiple deliveries simultaneously.
  • Ability to multi-task, dynamically prioritize workloads.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel (vlookups, etc.), and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications and Characteristics:


  • Strong financial and analytical skill set.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record in private equity fund administration.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage many tasks at once in a structured manner.
  • An ability to work in teams distributed across the globe and travel to onshore offices

The role is based in Bangalore but will involve interaction with J.P. Morgan teams across the globe
