Job Description

KYC Analyst


We are currently looking to hire a KYC Analyst who will be an essential part of the team assisting the management of internal compliance oversight, working with the US Compliance manager to assist with processes and controls with respect to our global compliance, regulatory and risk management responsibilities. We are looking for bright, innovative individuals to be part of a growing global team, individuals that have initiative and who will relish taking on responsibility and working within a collegiate environment. This role works in 2pm-11pm IST and in Hybrid mode.


Day-to-day responsibilities:


  • Performing KYC/AML checks on new onboarding, remediation, or periodic review.
  • Conducting KYC on different entity types such as, FI, Banks, Trust, Funds, SPV.
  • Performing Gap analysis and conducting outreach to internal team or directly to client to obtain KYC information and documentation required to complete our review.
  • Gathering and analysing KYC documentation in accordance with the Clients policy requirements to identify risks associated with the client and assess overall risk.
  • Sourcing of data from approved public sources using the methods outlined in policies and procedures.
  • Completing a risk assessment and determining the KYC risk classification of each client.
  • Construction of KYC files with the required information and documentation in accordance with the policy
  • Escalate to compliance team where needed.
  • Conducting sanction screening, adverse media screening and PEP screening.

Essential traits:


  • Experience in end-to-end KYC( 2-3 years minimum)
  • Previously worked on complex structure.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Good to have AML certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel , PowerPoint and adobe.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to details
  • Good team player
  • Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information
