Applications Analyst and Developer - Chennai

Reports to:          Senior Business Applications Analyst - Team Leader - ERP

JOB PURPOSE

• Design, develop, and customize programs and applications to suit corporate requirements. Liaise with Team leader and operating teams to set and follow guidelines when designing and implementing a solution. Assist and Troubleshoot problems if necessary to ensure smooth flow of daily activities.
• Perform 1st level end user support and escalate to 2nd level if unresolved.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

LN ERP – Tools

• Maintain proper application management and handling at the tools level.
• Import export Data Dictionary and Solution Service Packs Installation
• Test the system’s functionality after solutions installation.

LN ERP – Developments

• Write new sessions or reports based on requirements for new functionalities or information availability to enhance end user productivity or optimize standard procedures or functionalities.

Applications Support

• Respond to end user complaints – issues and cases and guide the users for the correct procedure.
• Adjust or fix any corrupted transactions or data and follow up with ERP Support
• Provide end users with the necessary support.
• Book new requests with external application support.
• Follow up with external support till a solution is provided and implemented.
• Ensure end users at all sites receive assistance and support needed to perform the activities on the system.

SPAN OF Communication

• Internal: Corporate IT & Business System Unit
• External: IT Vendors; External Application Support
