Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking for an enthusiastic individual with a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering to join us as Apprentice in Pune office.


Your Role

To support the design, planning, and delivery of civil engineering works for water and wastewater treatment, CSO, reservoirs, storm water and sewerage projects in the UK region, while being based in the India office. The apprentice will gain exposure to international engineering standards, project coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration.


Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the Atkins realis UK team on diverse civil engineering projects.


  • Assist in preparing general civil engineering drawings, layouts, Auto tracking, calculations, and technical reports for water and wastewater treatment facilities, reservoirs, CSO, storm water and sewerage networks etc..


  • Support planning and design activities from our other offices, ensuring compliance with high-quality standards and first-time-right delivery.


  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables. Passionate in environmental engineering.


  • Participate actively in technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.


About you
  • Education: Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.


  • Technically strong in engineering basics.


  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, hydrology, and general civil engineering principles.


  • Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes.


  • Familiarity with international design practices.


  • Willingness to learn and adapt to international project delivery frameworks.


  • Software Skills:


    • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D or similar CAD platforms is an advantage.


  • Additional Skills:


    • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.


    • Strong report-writing skills and fluency in English.
