Minimum qualification


  • BE/BTech in Mechanical / Metallurgy Engineering
  • Experience:    5 to 6 Years.
  • Experience in manufacturing, glass furnace, production plant will be preferred.
  • Industry: Manufacturing / Industry
  • Functional Area:  Project Management

The candidate must have


  • Experience of working in manufacturing, production plant and similar project (i.e. Glass furnace) will be preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Knowledge in the understanding site layout drawings, Engineering drawings, technical specifications, bill of materials
  • Conversant in all packages of structural, mechanical, and working understanding of MEP services.
  • Working knowledge of project management best practices
  • Solid communication and team working skills.
  • Ability to navigate stressful work situations.
  • Experience on Primavera / MS Project
  • Adept at MS Office applications

Main responsibilities include


  • Managing different aspects of project progress & schedule monitoring.
  • Review & monitor the baseline schedule against the actual work progress.  
  • Review detailed activity chart, delivery, installation timelines against the planned timeline. Any changes in the progress need to be reported periodically.
  • Monitor and report the project plan for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning / rebuild of the furnaces.
  • Provide suggestions on proposed action plans, and recovery plans to support program delivery on time in coordination with PMO.
