Purpose of the Position:
The position will be a part of RD&I organization. The employee independently executes the formulation development and allied activities for pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical products & technologies and thus supports the global healthcare business.
Key Responsibilities:
Literature and patent search.
Conduct formulations experiments
Reports and presentations preparation
Troubleshoot technical problems related to the manufacturing processes and formulations independently, in order to meet the project goals.
Communicate with the project manager(s) and other stakeholders on technical matters. Present technical data with due consideration to the connect with the overall technical goal & business connect of the project.
Send inhouse samples for analysis to analytical department.
Document the experiment completely on time.
Load batches for stability studies & document the same.
Preparation of bio batch & all documents related to the same.
Prepare trial reports & and other documents related to the project.
Experience in handling sophiscated equipment like spray dryer, hot melt extruder, FBP is preferred.
Experience in handling the potent compounds, lipid formulations and biologics is preferred.
Material destruction coordination within RCI for destruction of experimental materials quarterly with due documentation in place.
Play active role in experimental data generation aiming at protection of IP for the organization.
Update project specific technical details in Accolade system.
Generate new technical ideas of business relevance.
Handle additional administrative KRAs as assigned.
Education & Experience required:
Masters in Pharmacy with minimum 2 years of experience in carrying out formulation development activities in lab.
Sound technical knowledge related to the oral drug delivery domain.
Good analytical skills to help troubleshoot the technical problems encountered during project execution.
