Job Title: Assistant Manager – Project (IBMS / ELV)

Business: Building Technologies & Solutions – Controls

Reporting To: Project Manager / Area Operations Manager


Role Summary

The Assistant Manager – Project will be responsible for execution and management of IBMS / ELV projects, including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), BMS, and related control systems. The role involves coordinating with clients, PMCs, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, safe, and quality project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Management


  • Execute IBMS / ELV projects including CCTV, ACS, BMS, FAS, and control systems.


  • Plan and monitor day‑to‑day site activities to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.


  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams for smooth execution.


Installation, Testing & Commissioning


  • Oversee installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning of IBMS / ELV systems.


  • Coordinate with OEMs and system integrators for testing and system handover.


  • Ensure proper documentation including test reports, as‑built drawings, and handover dossiers.


Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination


  • Act as a key point of contact with clients, PMCs, consultants, and contractors.


  • Manage subcontractors and vendors; track progress and resolve site issues.


  • Participate in site meetings and provide regular progress updates.


Quality, Safety & Compliance


  • Ensure compliance with company EHS policies and statutory norms.


  • Support quality audits, inspections, and closure of punch points.


Reporting & Documentation


  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and support billing and documentation activities.


  • Maintain site records, drawings, and material tracking.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / related engineering discipline.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IBMS / ELV project execution.


  • Hands‑on experience in CCTV, ACS, BMS, and control systems is mandatory.


  • Exposure to pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
