"We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Embedded SystemsEngineer, to join our team. 
QA Engineer will help to verify functionality of our Embedded and Application Software for real-time controls and protective relays used for smart grid applications in the electrical power distribution industry. We are looking for motivated professionals with skills and interests in software and firmware testing and good communication skills who will play a key role in verifying and validating the next-generation technology solutions that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and devices. As associate Engineer your key activity will be involved in:



Test Development: Understanding the requirement, writing test scenario and testcases for Firmware and Software part of embedded platforms.
System Test: Able to execute system level test on integrated End to End system and able to identify and debug the defects and component.
Automation: Able to Automate the testcase using existing frameowrk and also identify enhancement on existing automation frameowrk.
You will work closely with experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact our products and solutions. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about embedded systems automation, eager to learn, and ready to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Helps assist in implementing test strategy, test plans, specifications, creating test cases and test data sets for embedded software and firmware.
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Develops, execute, and maintain extensible automated tests; skillsets in Java & Python, C# desired.
• Supports Team to design and implementation of robust, high quality Test Automation Suites within a Continuous Integration and Deployment environment to improve quality and productivity of functional, regression, and system tests. 
• Analyze test results, and identify, document, and report defect in tracking system.
• Collaborate with development and hardware teams to troubleshoot and resolve Defects.
• Set up and maintain test environments, including hardware and simulation tools.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and quality.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, procedures, and QA metrics.
• Identifies opportunities for process, tools, and test methodology improvements, and drives those from concept to implementation along with team.
• Ability to increase QA test automation coverage with a team of engineers both locally and remote."



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Controls/Instrumentation

• 1 to 3 years Experience in Software development & Testing preferably in embedded systems.
• 1+ years of development experience in JAVA or other scripting language



Skills:

• Handson Experiance on Automation Tools – Selenium, Appium , TestNG, Gradle
• Experience with creating test scenarios and test cases for embedded and application software functional and system test
• Experience on defining and implementing System Automation Test using existing Framework and experiance of developing/enhancing automation framework
• Basic understanding of Source Control software and Code Collaboration tools (Git, SVN, etc.); experience with Issue and Project Tracking software (JIRA, TFS, QA Complete etc.).
• Basic understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems.
