Job Description
- Support US Public Credit tax and accounting teams with ensuring timely cross-communication of critical information between all parties.
- Work alongside outside accounting firms in the preparation and review of tax workpapers.
- Work with internal tax teams to prepare tax withholding calculations.
- Support tax team with quantitative tax analysis for decision making.
- Make quarterly tax payments on various federal and state websites.
- Prepare accounts payable templates and coordinate payment process with business line tax teams and fund accounting.
- Review quarterly RIC qualifications testing.
- Support tax team with resolution of federal and state tax notices.
- Prepare income tax provisions and ASC 740 memos supporting financial statements.
- Manage annual and quarterly investor tax reporting packages.
- Coordinate tax basis and E&P tracking with outside accounting firms
- Coordinate collection and distribution of directly held equity and CLO investment K-1s and PFIC schedules.
- Maintain signification debt modification tracker and track book/tax differences.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and regularly with US tax and accounting team and maintain relationships at senior level and handle escalated requests.
- Bachelor’s degree from and accredited university in accounting or related discipline/Indian CA/US CPA
- Big 4 experience required.
- Knowledge of US tax related to corporate blockers, partnerships and/or RICs
- Industry experience, specifically with bank debt
- Adept with MS Office applications including Word, Excel
- Alteryx or PowerBI preferred.
- Experience with US tax
- Experience with Business Development Companies (“BDC”) and RICs preferred.
- Experience with K-1s, PFIC, CFC preferred.
- Experience with shareholder reporting (Forms 1099 and 1042) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong organization and time management skills

- Extremely detailed oriented with proven track record for accuracy
