Job description

What you’ll do:

Drive Eaton's MESH system implementation, Report & Investigate all incidents. Conduct EHS meetings & trainings as per corporate & statutory requirements, Manage fire protection system arrangement, EHS Campaigns & Employee engagement programmes.



  1. Drive & ensure implementation of MESH system covering all Safety elements
  2. Ensures required employee EHSl training is completed on-time and documented. 
  3. Drives ISO 14001, ISO 45001 system implementation.
  4. Maintains fire protection system, plant emergency response plans and ensures drills are performed to document plan effectiveness.
  5. Maintain plant environmental permits and ensures terms and conditions are understood and complied with, ensures required documentation is maintained and required regulatory reports are submitted to the respective agency.
  6. Ensures on time completion of regulatory / competent person inspections and examinations for all applicable equipments.
  7. Identify, propose & implement EHS CAPEX projects for in the plant.
  8. Management Risk assessments- Site Level risk assessments, WorkStation Risk assessment, MoCs and all applicable Work permit systems including General, Hotwork, height work, confined space, electrical , move plan, in compliance with MESH & regulatory requirements.
  9. Supports Element Champions for implementation of MESH requirements including regulatory requirements and for MESH assessments.
  10. Plant level PPE management and vendor management for EHS services
  11. Reports in MESH PRISM for all reporting requirements and tracking of action closure and compliance calendar in Eaton Reporting system.
  12. Participates monthly Lesson learnt session to drive sharing of lessons learnt and best practice sharing.
  13. Manages relationships with suppliers, contractors and service providers including 3rd party competent person • Participate in customer calls/discussions and provide appropriate expertise on reliability
  14. Convene Quarterly Safety committee meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 8 to 13 years’ experience in the environmental, occupational health and safety field. 

Skills:
  • Masters in Industrial Safety /EHS etc or Diploma in Industrial Safety from RLI/CLI is mandatory.
  • ISO 14001 & 45001 internal auditor. NEBOSH IGC, Ergonomical training, CMSE is advantage.
  • MS Office, Good Inter-personnel and communication Skill.
