Could you be the full-time Chief Maintenance Engineering in India we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll ensure the smooth execution of projects while driving technical excellence and operational efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Quality, EHS, Sourcing, ISR, HR), lead depot activities such as fleet management and maintenance, and manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
You’ll specifically take care of troubleshooting complex technical issues and optimizing fleet performance, but also contribute to reliability growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:
Being accountable for project QCDP performance and optimizing financial outcomes (margin and cash)
Defining project strategy and ensuring alignment with contract requirements
Leading and coordinating project activities from transfer to close-out
Managing customer and external stakeholder relationships
Driving team competency for troubleshooting and technical operations
Ensuring compliance with EHS standards, quality policies, and Alstom processes

Bachelor’s degree in Technology (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics)
Experience in project management within the railway industry (8–10 years, with at least 5 years in medium-critical projects)
Strong technical knowledge of rolling stock maintenance, including troubleshooting TCMS and propulsion systems
Familiarity with railway safety standards, RAMS, and EHS practices
Proficiency in tools like SAP, MS Project, and other planning systems
Leadership and team management skills
Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
