We are looking for an experienced Java developer to build, deploy and operate cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot on Azure. The role requires strong expertise in JPA/Hibernate with Oracle databases and hands‑on experience deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes (AKS). The candidate will work across design, development, CI/CD, performance tuning, and production support. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Implement data access using Spring Data JPA/Hibernate against Oracle databases; optimize queries and schema as required. Containerize applications and manage deployments on Kubernetes (preferably AKS). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (build, test, container image publishing, deployment). Integrate with Azure platform services (AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions). Implement observability (metrics, logging, tracing) and set up alerts for production systems. Ensure security best practices (secrets management, network security, authentication/authorization). Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis. Collaborate with product owners, QA, and operations; perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Drive performance tuning for JVM, database queries, and Kubernetes resource usage.
