Regional Programmatic Lead

The Regional Programmatic Lead drives regional programmatic planning and activation oversight, ensuring campaigns deliver against performance targets while aligning with global programmatic standards. This role serves as the primary programmatic authority within the region, owning regional programmatic media plans, providing senior oversight to in-region traders, and ensuring campaigns are optimized, compliant, and delivering business outcomes.

You will: 


  • Lead partners closely with global programmatic leadership, regional marketing teams, and cross-functional partners to drive performance, maintain governance standards, and continuously improve programmatic capabilities within the region. Execute in-housing transition within region, supporting hiring, onboarding, and implementation of processes and platforms, ensuring adoption of global standards and continuity of campaign delivery and performance.


  • Own and oversee regional programmatic media plans and campaign execution. Ensure campaigns meet performance targets through proactive pacing and optimization management. Drive adoption of global programmatic best practices and governance standards within the region. Provide leadership and technical oversight to regional programmatic traders. Maintain strong reporting, transparency, and communication with regional and global stakeholders.


  • Regional Programmatic Leadership: Serve as the senior programmatic lead for the region, responsible for overall programmatic performance and activation strategy. Own and guide the development of regional programmatic media plans in partnership with regional marketing stakeholders. Provide senior oversight and strategic direction to in-region programmatic traders and activation teams. Ensure campaigns are structured and executed in alignment with global programmatic strategies and objectives.


  • Performance Management & Optimization: Act as the primary point of accountability for campaign pacing, delivery, and performance across the region. Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and proactively implement optimization strategies to ensure targets are met. Identify performance risks early and implement corrective actions in collaboration with trading teams. Drive continuous improvement through optimization insights and best practices.


  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Lead performance reporting for regional programmatic campaigns to senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization. Provide clear insights on campaign performance, optimizations, and strategic recommendations. Translate complex programmatic data into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders. Ensure consistent reporting standards and transparency across regional programmatic activities.


  • Governance, Compliance & Brand Safety: Ensure all regional campaigns meet global brand safety, compliance, and creative governance requirements. Oversee implementation of verification tools, brand safety settings, and inventory quality standards. Ensure proper campaign QA, naming conventions, and platform governance protocols are followed and partner with global programmatic leadership to maintain alignment with evolving governance standards.


  • Vendor Management & Funding Oversight: Own and manage regional vendor funding plans and investment commitments. Track vendor funding targets and ensure campaigns are structured to meet agreed partnership goals. Collaborate with strategic media partners and platforms to maximize value from vendor investments and provide visibility to leadership on vendor funding performance and opportunities.


  • Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with creative, ad operations, analytics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth campaign execution. Ensure assets, targeting strategies, and measurement frameworks are aligned before campaign launch. Support training and capability development of regional programmatic teams. Share regional learnings and insights with global programmatic leadership to inform broader strategy.

Essential Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.


  • 12+ years of experience in programmatic strategy, planning, and activation with regional or multi-market scope.


  • Strong understanding of DSPs, programmatic planning, optimization methodologies, and measurement frameworks.


  • Experience managing programmatic teams or overseeing trading functions.


  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.


  • Ability to translate performance data into strategic recommendations for leadership.
