Data warehouse Developer - Assistant Manager

Role Summary & Role Description:

Data warehouse Developer with min 7-10 years of experience in Design, develop, implement, support and maintain business critical software on Oracle platform (12c,19c)

Core/Must have skills:

• Analysis and manipulation of data to support building new reports and modify existing reports
• Good understanding of warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, marts, cubes etc.)
• Perform code reviews and unit testing of code on SQL and PL/SQL codes
• Analyze SQL and PL/SQL codes and perform bug-fixing
• Apply good coding practices
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Knowledge on DB Cloud services
• Developing and maintaining Oracle database applications using SQL
• Designing and developing database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL
• Good knowledge on cursors.- Optimizing database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code
• Work on Proof of concepts and present to stakeholders
• Complete end to end unit and functional testing
• Test software applications to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Involved in technical designs and architecture and complete SDLC
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently as well as within a team
• Financial Services experience as a business analyst and / or developer
• Knowledge on Agile Methodology
• Production application support
• Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Good to have skills:

Knowledge of performance optimization, test-driven development, build tools, and version control system
