Purpose of Role:

• Design & Develop of Rubber Hand Built Hoses. Maintain confidentiality of designs
• Maintain constant communication with DCO, technical team in other regions of our group for updates on development and R&D
• Support application engineers and marketing team in selection of hoses and providing technical information.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standards, processes of our hoses while adhering to WEIR safety standards.
• Improve efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the quality of the products and capacity of the unit.
• Provide training to the technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
· Focus Area: Preparing and maintaining the hose Drgs/SOP/IOM

· Focus Area: Develop new types/sizes of hoses as per requirement.

· Focus Area: Operational efficiency of our Hose unit (Wastage%, Curing times, process rejections, customer satisfaction)

· Focus Area: Cost optimisation & Process improvements to enhance quality and safety of hoses.

· Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: (Add MAX 4 bullets of desired eligibility requirements)
· Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
· Desired eligibility requirement : Science graduate with diploma in rubber technology / bachelor’s degree in Rubber technology / bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering/Mechanical Engineering
· Desired eligibility requirement : Bachelor’s degree in Rubber technology
