Key Responsibilities
  • Develop smart, scalable, performant solutions to tight deadlines, using Java, Spring Boot etc.
  • Takes up hands on development of software applications and systems, following best of engineering practices
  • Work with the team, to drive design and engineering practices
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the full development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve team objectives
  • Be up to date on latest technologies, frameworks and make use of them as and when required

  • Passion for client focussed and awareness of impact of each change for the business and operations
  • Strong stakeholder interaction and management and excellent communication skills
  • Contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation through the application of standard and latest technology (standardised enterprise grade tools, software, and frameworks).

Processes



  • Provide inputs, support and challenge process or operating model to constantly identify opportunities on simplification and delivery efficiency.
  • Define standards to ensure that applications are designed with scale, resilience, and performance in mind. 

Risk Management



  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks for investment projects as well for new application build-out.
  • Identify / address key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.

Governance



  • Awareness and understanding of the Group Technology Policy, Standards and Enterprise Risk management framework

•    Java Technologies(Java 11, Spring, Hibernate, Problem Solving)
•    Microservices 
•    REST API/MQ/Solace (Integration)
•    Devops Tools and process
•    DB Concepts/SQL

Qualifications

•    Engineer Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology 
•    Masters or MBA is good to have
