About the opportunity:
At Ericsson we are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation solutions, and monitoring systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications and services.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment for NC Stack
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using monitoring and logging tools.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance requirements across environments.
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity processes are in place.
  • Continuously improve deployment automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Knowledge of security and vulnerability management tools.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
