Job Summary


Synechron is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on expertise in building, automating, and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This key role will support our drive toward engineering excellence, innovation, and operational reliability. The successful candidate will be a champion of automation, cloud delivery, and best-in-class DevOps practices, collaborating across teams to create robust, scalable, and secure platforms for critical business applications.


Software Requirements


Required Tools & Proficiency


  • AWS Cloud Platform (strong, demonstrable experience managing deployments)


  • Harness (must have in-depth, hands-on experience)


  • Jenkins (pipeline automation and orchestration)


  • Terraform (infrastructure as code for cloud provisioning)


  • Git-based version control (Bitbucket or GitHub–admin and repo management)


  • Python (for automation and scripting tasks)


Preferred/Bonus Skills


  • CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines


  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)


  • System monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)

Overall Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and manage advanced CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, and Bitbucket Pipelines


  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)


  • Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security


  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to accelerate release cycles and enable continuous integration/delivery


  • Manage source code repositories and branching strategies with GitHub or Bitbucket


  • Lead incident response efforts and quickly resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues


  • Implement best practices in DevOps, automation, monitoring, and security compliance

Qualifications

  • Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator), Terraform, or related platforms are highly desirable
