Your role and responsibilities

Experienced DevOps Engineer responsible for leading DevOps initiatives, managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure and operational tasks, and supporting containerized application platforms. The role involves troubleshooting production deployment issues, migrating legacy build systems to standardized environments, implementing automation using Bash and Python, and managing Docker and Kubernetes orchestration platforms. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, deployment efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence

As a Firmware Developer, you will design, develop, test, and deliver offerings for IBM Z using the latest technologies. You will work in a team-based, collaborative environment with peers both locally and across the global organization, applying agile methodologies throughout the entire development cycle. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Develop Firmware Components: Create and use design documentation, such as Functional Programming Specifications and high-level design documents, to implement identified components. Ensure that the implemented components are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product. * Collaborate with Designers: Work with designers to understand users and create a tangible experience through combined efforts. * Debug and Test Code: Debug reported problems, design, develop, and unit test code fixes to provide solutions for identified defects. * Deliver Solutions: Develop and support various projects, including hardware management console mobile apps, cryptographic processors, I/O adapters, and Secure Service Containers. * Apply Agile Methodologies: Follow agile methodologies throughout the development cycle, from design to real hardware integration testing.

- Lead and mentor the DevOps team in delivering reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions

- Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for production and development environments

- Drive migration of legacy build and deployment systems to modern standardized platforms

- Automate operational and infrastructure tasks using Bash and Python scripting

- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration platforms

- Monitor production environments and resolve deployment, performance, and infrastructure issues

- Implement and maintain DevOps best practices for build, release, and deployment processes

- Perform API testing and support integration validation across services

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve release efficiency and system reliability

- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of infrastructure and deployment pipelines

- Optimize build, deployment, and runtime performance across environments

- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
