Job Description

As a DigitalPayments Product Manager - Vice President within the Commercial Banking unit at JP Morgan Chase, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our digital payments productand managing multiple payment integration journeys. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders, managing the product backlog in alignment with our strategic objectives. Your role will be pivotal in gathering requirements, defining and managing backlog, and ensuring the user's perspective is included. Job responsibilities:


  • Collect, capture and manage user needs through story writing to support development and deployment.
  • Facilitate gathering of business requirements to support product team and product owners in agile method, defining and managing backlog, and ensuring user’s perspective is included. 
  • Support scrum team meetings and ensure that delivery aligns with overall product vision.
  • Agile management of product requirements, stories and rapid prototyping as needed.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written) with relevant stakeholders to gain buy-in
  • Execute against strategy and product/pilot roadmap; own and proactively identify issues and drive resolutions end-to-end.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • 12+ years of experience with Education/degree in a relevant area field (e.g., business, finance, engineering, computer science, design, or in a related non-engineering/humanities discipline)
  • Expertise in product development/product management, ideally focused on B-to-B or B-to-C payments; experience of 8+ years; 
  • Expertise in US and/or international payment products (i.e., cash management/treasury services — wires, ACH, EFT, SWIFT, real-time payments (RTO, FedNow, Faster Payments, SEPA Credit Transfer Instant Payments, NPP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability in writing concise user stories (not use cases), accurate user acceptance criteria to be used by developers and product owners to ensure product is delivered to spec.
  • Results-orientation — Takes initiative to identify areas to add value and executes quickly and accurately.
  • Passion for customer experience and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for business and eagerness to work on any task that will add value; strong work ethic; thrives in fast-paced environment able to manage and execute across competing deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Figma
  • Successfully managed payment integration journeys and have good knowledge on tech integrations of payment products.
  • Techno-Functional experience in managing payment product lifecycle management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


  • Experience with emerging and alternative payment rails and non-bank/fintech payment providers/ecosystem  
  • Understanding and familiarity with payment standards and gateway integrations desired
  • Experience of working with payment gateways ,
