What You’ll Do

As a Senior Engineering Manager within the Communication and Collaboration Security team, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and supporting our teams in India and driving multiple projects and initiatives.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide a senior leadership presence for Quality Engineering and Services functions in India
• Manage, develop, and grow groups of Quality Engineers/SDETs and DevOps Engineers
• Drive initiatives to implement our Automation, CI/CD, and Tools strategies and best practices
• Deliver according to priorities based on department goals and roadmap
• Foster a culture of strong collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
• Recruit and hire top talent to help Mimecast deliver next generation products
• Innovate and champion improvements in QE and CI/CD processes and tools

What You’ll Bring

• Steady, confident, mature leadership and decision-making
• Considerable domain experience in Quality Engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering
• Track record of delivering complex engineering projects at scale
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, automation technologies, and associated tools and how to optimize them for public cloud
• Experience deploying, scaling, monitoring, and maintaining services in AWS
• Familiarity with Web UIs and RESTful APIs and how to validate them
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills that extend your vision, influence, and impact across the organization
• Bias for action and problem solving – eagerness to take initiative and make things happen
