Experience: 5-7 years Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize embedded application software for real‑time and non‑real‑time systems. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams to integrate and validate embedded solutions. Debug and resolve software issues through structured analysis and testing. Develop efficient, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices. Perform system‑level testing, optimization, and performance tuning. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture planning. Ensure software quality through unit testing and automated test scripts. Mandatory Skills: Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems. Hands‑on experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and embedded Linux. Strong debugging skills using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers. Experience with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, or Ethernet. Good understanding of software development lifecycles and version control (Git). Preferred Skills: Experience with Python or shell scripting. Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, Zigbee, etc.). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build systems like CMake or Yocto. Experience with cloud‑connected embedded devices or IoT platforms. Exposure to security best practices for embedded systems.
