Job Title:Engineer-Technical ServicesSummary:Momentive Performance Materials India Pvt. Ltd is seeking a qualified Engineer ( Technical Services) for chemical process development in a broad range of silicones and/or intermediates and finished products. The Engineer ( Technical Services) will primarily focus on new products translation and process technology from laboratory through lab scale into manufacturing, developing a chemical process for new and existing products and support the process team.
• The Engineer ( Technical Services) will work with a variety of functions and teams, including Process team, applications engineers, laboratory technicians, marketing specialists, procurement, quality, production engineers, and plant operators.Responsibilities Include:

• Proactively develop economical and environmentally sound manufacturing processes for new and existing silicone and/or intermediates and finished products from laboratory to manufacturing scales.
• Hands-on laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing scale-up work in support of projects.
• Maintain safe operations with excellent housekeeping practices.
• Build strong relationships among manufacturing, local process technology, Continuous Improvement, Procurement and Operations teams to maximize efficient execution of projects.
• Support of manufacturing through key troubleshooting optimization and new process implementation.
• Prepare project reports, operating procedures, and presentations.
• NPI Launch Calendar and on time execution
• Improve the process Productivity targets
• New alternate RM validation and execution
• Develop case study of Products and process

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

M.Sc. in Chemistry with 7+ years of related industrial experience

• Laboratory and pilot scale experience with new products implementation and chemical process development.
• Hands-on QC and laboratory equipment setup and operation experience.
• Proven history of creativity / ingenuity. Ability to think creatively and communicate ideas effectively in both research and manufacturing environment.
