Solventum is seeking an ERP Operations Manager in our GCC India Location Bangalore.

Job Summary:

Solventum is seeking an ERP Operations Manager at our Global Capability Center (GCC) to establish and manage our teams in SAP BASIS, Security and related technologies, as well as establishing our SAP application support center for Solventum enterprise based on a SAP S4HANA ecosystem in an SAP RISE environment.

This role will be critical to the delivery of SAP Projects and securing support operations for our global instances on RISE for SAP S4 HANA Private and Public Cloud solutions. The position is based in our GCC in Bangalore, India and is part of the global ERP Program Team for the Solventum

Solventum is setting up its new operating model for S4 HANA based environments on RISE. This role will require a combination of strong skills in SAP operations with experience in setting up, scaling and managing Service Delivery for all services which are critical to enable a seamless global user experience based on a high availability ERP Ecosystem. It includes team management and requires supervisory experience to manage the operations of these environments by internal, Managed Services and other contracted work across continents in a 24/7 environment. The position requires deep knowledge of SAP Support best practices as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams from different businesses and various countries in a complex organization with differences in language, culture, and time zones. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Establishing and expanding the ERP operations team at GCC India and help drive the collaboration, communication, and framework necessary to enable the delivery of seamless ERP operations for Solventum.
• Working with the GCC Leader to align organizational goals and guiding principles of the ERP team with the overall mission of the GCC
• Attracting, recruiting, retaining and empowering professionals across the sub-teams of ERP operations at GCC – ERP operations includes ERP Basis, Security as well as Support and Service for the strategic ERP ecosystem implemented at Solventum; Ensure focus on attracting and retaining talent within the GCC structure and the ERP operations team particularly and champion the importance of competency expertise and skill development as a driver of success and talent retention
• Establishing and owning the KPI metrics for the services provided from the ERP Operations team and drive excellence, allowing for synergies to be leveraged across the ERP and GCC sub-teams and drive change to be more impactful and cohesive across the organization. Ability to establish, perform and analyze operations and manage the contributing parties to SLA achievements
• Collaborating with Vendor Support services to provide production support for the ERP environments and participate in emergency incident resolution related to these products.
• With Solventum being a LifeScience company, the position is required to ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements for the delivered services
• Establishing and Maintaining technical knowledge-base and documentation of SAP system components and architecture.
• Overseeing the change processes within the SAP Landscape and the SAP Infrastructure according to accepted policy and procedures in a Healthcare validated systems environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5- 8 years of experience in supporting complex and large SAP S4 environments including HANA Databases
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in establishing and managing an IT Service & Support Center for an SAP cloud based ecosystem
• Minimum 5 years of Supervisory/Leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with (or for) SAP, Certified Partners, Managed Services providers or System Integrators
• Experience in a multi-national large company – preferably in Life Sciences
• Working knowledge in Service Management, SAP Basis or Security technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and team collaboration skills.
