Job purpose


To lead and Manage the Overall Facility Operations of a small Manufacturing Factory ( 100 employes) ensuring smooth administration, Utility services, Maintenance and Statutory compliance also with EJS performance , Infrastructure reliability and efficient day to day Operations.


Main Accountabilities


Facility & Utility Management


Ensure smooth Operation and maintenance of all factory utilities including, Electrical Systems, DG Sets, Air compressors, HVAC systems, Water systems, STP, ETP, Fire protection and General Building Infrastructure.


Maintenance for Factory by planning, Preventive and Breakdown Schedules


Monitor the Utility Consumption Costs, implement energy saving initiatives.


Maintain Utility Logbooks, Records and Calibration and AMC schedules.


EHS  Management


Ensure EHS policies, Implement Safe work Practices across the factory, Conduct Safety inspections Risk assessment and work place audits.. Organise Mock drills, Tool box Talks and Safety trainings, Investigate Incidents, Near miss and Unsafe conditions, drive corrective actions.


Ensure waste disposal and environmental Compliance requirements.


Monitor Compliance related to :


PPE usage, Fire safety, Electrical Safety, Work permits etc


Compliance and Statutory Management


Ensure compliance with all Applicable factory and Labour laws, Co ordinate and maintain records related to Factory Licenses, Fire NOC, Pollution Control, Lift inspections, Electrical inspections and any Contractor compliance.


Liaise with Government authorities and auditors and inspectors and also support internal periodical audits on Compliance and statutory requirements Maintain documentation and Trackers.


Administartion & Security


Oversee Housekeeping Canteen, Transport, Pest control and Security services.


Manage Facility Vendors and AMC contractors, Ensure factory premises are clean and organised. Monitor access control and Visitor management.


Budget & Cost Control


Prepare and Monitor the annual Finance budget for the facility, Control utility, Maintenance costs without compromise on Compliance and Safety


Track Inventory and Logistics costs


Keep control on Critical Spare parts and raw materials and consumable costs.


Control Opex to make the Plant efficient

  • Education
  • Diploma /BE/B Tech  In :

Mechanical engineering


Electrical Engineering


Industrial engineering


With 10 – 12 years of experience in Factory facility management, Maintenance and Plant operations in Automobile OR pharmaceutical OR FMCG industries Or paint industries.


Experience in Handling utilities, EHS & Factory Compliance in Manufacturing plants is preferred.
