Bremen (Germany), Getafe (Spain), Filton (UK), Mobile (US), Beijing (China), and Kuala
Lumpur (Malaysia). Our main missions are:
● Retrofit Solutions: Deliver and Support added value Retrofit solution packages to
maintain continued aircraft airworthiness and improve Customers’ Operations &
profitability
● Maintenance Program Engineering: Deliver customer value through an array of
services (from business development to the preparation of Planned Maintenance Service
products, maintenance program optimization exercises and Parking & Storage)
● Scheduled Maintenance Services: Support the operation and maintenance of all
Airbus aircraft and all customers worldwide, from development of initial requirements to
deviation management and optimization of maintenance tasks.
● GSE Engineering: Engineering activities related to GSE & Tools (including Design,
Services, Manufacturing Engineering & Front desk) for all Airbus aircraft and all
customers worldwide
Job description
In order to constantly improve the approx. 14,000 civil Airbus aircraft in service for reliable and sustainable operation, We are looking for you as Head of Service Bulletin Production - India.
The Service Bulletin Production department is part of the Retrofit Solutions organization.
In the context of aircraft retrofit solutions we are E2E responsible for all Service Bulletin production activities. This includes reception of Engineering input, authoring of accomplishment instructions, illustration of working steps and management of all approval steps until dispatch to our airline customers.
As HO( Head of) Service Bulletin(SB) Production - India , you will build and manage a team working on, SB design & SB validation.
In this position you will directly contribute to the success of our customers operation by providing support and deliverables related to maintenance & retrofit for all Airbus Commercial aircraft.
You will report operationally to the HO Retrofit Solutions (AISBMR) and functionally to the HO Service Bulletin Production - Global(SIMx).
The job holder will be responsible for leading the Service Bulletin Production team with a total 12-15 people. In addition teams need to connect and collaborate with teams at Airbus France ,Airbus Germany and Airbus Beijing Engineering Center. As were maintaining a high level of subcontracting, close management of 3 subcontractors is completing the span of control.

Experience:
Master’s or a Bachelor's degree in engineering
Minimum 5 years progressive experience in leadership or direct supervision within the aeronautics industry
Accomplished operational leader with experience in building and managing a team
Experience in maintenance, tools design or service bulletins would be a plus
