Overview PepsiCo is seeking a highly qualified HR Director to lead our HR function through our continued growth journey for our Strategy & Transformation Function within India. You’ll build and lead the HR strategy to create a world-class Strategy & Transformation Capability Centre. Working closely in partnership with our Global COEs (TA, TM, TR etc.) You’ll drive your ambitious cohesive HR strategy, with a key focus on business partnering, CSR and local learning and development. You’ll lead a team of HR business partners focused on HR operations, labour compliance, compensation, benefits, learning and development, staffing demands, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations. You’ll promote and lead the company’s cultures and values by planning and promoting HR programs, serving as part of the leadership team for the site and advising business leaders on all HR matters. You’ll possess strong relationship skills and be the ambassador for cultures and values of PepsiCo. Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities Participates in business / functional strategy Defines and owns talent strategy, supporting business vision Brings industry practices from top quartile companies on talent evolution / retention schemes / life balance strategy Builds a strong employer brand in India Key connector between Strategy & transformation India and key centres People Responsibilities Manages HR operations (staff) and Talent Acquisition (process) Builds a high performing and collaborative team culture Lead and manage a team of app. 10-15 people supporting a population of approximately 4,000. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, Masters’ preferred Fifteen or more years of increasing levels of HR leadership required Current or previous experience as an HR Director responsible for multiple HR programs and business units HR generalist who has experience, and a passion for, focussing on culture, engagement, talent and development. Experience in a complex (matrixed) International organization is required. HR Technical Expertise: HR business partner, compensation & benefits, HR operations, employee relations, labour relations, labour compliance, talent management, learning and development, talent acquisition, employee engagement and retention, etc. Political Savvy: Exhibits confidence and professional diplomacy, while effectively relating to people at all levels internally and externally. Written and Verbal Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others. Understands complex ideas in HR, but able to simplify and explain problems and solutions in terms everyone can understand. Problem Solving: Identifies problems and uses logic, judgment, and data to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions to achieve the desired organizational goal or outcome. Self-confidence: Confidently conveys their knowledge, wisdom and know-how to others. Should have strong executive presence and maturity. Excellent listening skills: Before solutions can be discovered, problems need to be fully understood. Carefully listens to the needs of clients to implement solutions that address their specific needs. Trustworthy: Develops strong relationships with their clients, based on integrity and trust. Ethical Standards: Acts in an honest and trustworthy manner in all interactions. Ensures company policies, programs, and culture reflect a high integrity environment. Inspirational leader: Has to be an inspiring leader who can build on the current team and augment the capabilities.
