Hydraulic & Transmission Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Hydraulic & Transmission Mechanics to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical transmissions, servicing a variety of machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and transmission components in vehicles and machinery.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and system overhauls, replacing or repairing worn parts as necessary.
  
• Test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance.
  
• Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
  
• Maintain detailed records of serviced equipment and report on maintenance work conducted.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times.
  
• Provide guidance and support to junior mechanics and technicians.
  
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in hydraulic and transmission technology.
  

• Diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, automotive repair, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Hydraulic & Transmission Mechanic, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical transmission operations.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in physically demanding conditions.
