Working under the guidance of the Senior Power BI Analyst and in close partnership with the Central Data Team (CDT), this role contributes to dashboard development, data validation and workspace organisation. The analyst connects to certified Gold-layer datasets, builds reports aligned to domain KPIs, and develops the skills to take on greater autonomy over time. The role is well-suited to a candidate with a solid foundation in Power BI who is seeking to grow within a structured, governed analytics environment in the maritime and port services industry.

Key Accountabilties :

Requirement capture: work with the Senior Analyst and domain stakeholders to understand reporting needs; contribute to translating business requirements into Power BI solutions.

Data modelling: connect to certified Gold-layer datasets provided by the CDT; design basic star schemas and DAX measures aligned to Hub Operations KPIs under senior guidance.

Report development: build Power BI reports and dashboards to defined specifications; implement row-level security (RLS) per governance standards; configure basic audience settings and refresh schedules.

Workspace support: assist with folder organisation, archiving of outdated assets and application of sensitivity labels and endorsement policies; escalate access control and capacity queries to the Senior Analyst or CDT.

Deployment participation: prepare content for promotion through Dev→Test→Prod pipelines under senior supervision; document changes and assist with functional testing.

Quality assurance: validate report outputs against source data; flag anomalies and data quality issues to the Senior Analyst or CDT promptly.

Learning and development: engage actively with CDT guidance, training materials and governance standards; develop familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and the medallion architecture over time.

Maritime relevance: develop an understanding of Hub Operations processes, port agency terminology and ISS operational context to ensure reporting is accurate and meaningful.

Key Deliverables :
