Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Interpret client needs and lifestyle requirements to create compelling design concepts. Utilize space planning skills to layout spaces effectively.
  
• Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to refine design plans to their satisfaction while staying within budget constraints.
  
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure all installations are carried out to specifications.
  
• Material Selection: Select and specify materials, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring compatibility with environmental, safety, and aesthetic standards.
  
• Documentation: Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  
• Budget Management: Monitor budget compliance and perform cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs comply with legal and health and safety standards.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  
• Proven work experience (2+ years) as an Interior Designer or similar role.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design programs.
  
• Strong portfolio of design work.

• Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly design practices is an advantage.
  
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  
• Fluent in Tamil and English to effectively communicate with local clients and suppliers.
