Job Description: The Role and Impact As an IP Design Verification Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functional correctness and reliability of cutting-edge intellectual property (IP) designs that power the next generation of technology. Your contributions will ensure that our designs meet stringent specification requirements and support Intel's mission to deliver world-class innovations across the industry. With your expertise, you will drive advancements in design verification and directly impact Intel's success in delivering high-performance, reliable solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive IP verification plans, ensuring coverage aligns with microarchitecture specifications. - Design and maintain test benches and verification environments to simulate and validate design functionality. - Define and run system simulation models to uncover bugs and verify design integrity. - Debug issues in the pre-silicon environment, root cause failures, and implement corrective measures to resolve them. - Collaborate with architects and RTL developers to refine verification methodologies. - Document and drive technical reviews of detailed test plans and proofs with design and architecture teams. - Maintain and enhance the functional verification infrastructure to improve efficiency and scalability. - Participate in the definition of technical frameworks and methodologies for functional design verification.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. - 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years with a Master's degree, or 6 years with a PhD in an industry-relevant role. - Proficiency in SystemVerilog and System Verilog assertions. - Experience in working on complex protocols like PCIE or AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB). - Expertise in using scripting languages like Perl or Python to develop and optimize verification workflows. - Demonstrated ability to write and execute thorough test plans leading to verification closure. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with formal verification techniques and developing protocol checkers, bridge checkers, or VIP integration. - Experience in sideband protocols. - Strong understanding of network-on-chip verification. - Proven ability to bring up coherent protocols and configurable IP verification from concept to implementation. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling collaboration across cross-functional teams.
