Role Overview
This position involves working on IP-level validation and silicon debug activities, ensuring robust hardware functionality and security. You will collaborate across teams to develop test strategies, execute validation plans, and contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret IP-level documentation and specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans for emulation and post-silicon validation.
Create embedded C-based test cases aligned with the test plan.
Execute test cases on emulation platforms and post-silicon hardware.
Debug hardware-level issues and assist in resolving HW security-related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in silicon debug sessions.
Apply strong debugging skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
Contribute to the enhancement of tools, technologies, and validation flows.
Automate existing test cases to improve efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in ASIC validation.
Proficiency in embedded C programming.
Hands-on experience in silicon debug and test plan creation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ARM CPU , RISCV and SoC architectures (ADI/AMBA/ARM v8/V9).
Experience with Lauterbach Trace32 scripting.
Background in silicon bring-up and enabling.
Expertise in silicon debug and data acquisition.
Understanding of hardware-level access control in modern SoCs.
Knowledge of cryptographic concepts (symmetric/asymmetric keys, RNGs).
Validation experience with secure boot and hardware security functions.
Exposure to emulation platforms like Veloce or equivalent.
Basic scripting skills in Python or Shell.
