We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer  for Java on z/OS Mainframe to strengthen our development teams to support existing and future products for our customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Driving the further development of a net-new product stack to increase the efficiency of large-scale customer applications.

  
  

• Supporting the entire product life cycle, from requirements analysis over implementation and testing to delivery

  
  

• Working in a software development process according to the principles of Lean and Agile

  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

  
  

• Strong background in IBM z/OS Mainframe environments

  
  

• Extensive Java experience of at least 5 years experience under IBM z/OS

  
  

• Proven knowledge in Java Database Connectivity JDBC

  
  

• Powerful debugging and troubleshooting skills

  
  

• Knowledge of COBOL and/ or C is a plus

  
  

• Experience with databases on the mainframe, such as Db2, Adabas or IMS DB is a plus

  
  

• Good skills of CICS, VSAM, SQLJ and WebSphere Liberty would complete your profile

  
  

• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
