Job description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Build and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for enterprise-grade applications
  • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions and distributed systems
  • Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.)
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to overall engineering excellence

Required Skills & Experience


  • 6–10+ years of backend development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
  • Experience building API-driven and microservices-based architectures
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:  Compute: Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Aurora, API Gateway, SQS, SNS
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and concurrency
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
