Senior Test Automation Engineer- Katalon/JMeter

Job summary

The “Test Automation Engineer” is responsible for automating the test case execution using Katalon tool and accordingly run the automated test cases to validate the ELM environments. Next, also develop/execute Performance Testing using JMeter and report out on the test metrics. You should have experience in test automation using Katalon & JMeter tool, have excellent problem-solving skills and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Analyst to identify & write the test cases
• Automate/Develop test cases/plans and execution using Katalon & JMeter tooling
• Validate the automated test cases by running them on the ELM environments
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Performance and Regression)
• Report any defect coming out of the testing, together with its details in the tracking system
• Work with team for resolving the issues identified and re-executing the failed test cases
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features/cases of the system
• Document the procedure followed for automating the test case execution

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science and relevant work experience of 5-8 years
• Experience in creating and maintaining test automation scripts using Katalon, JMeter tools
• Experience in all levels of application testing, i.e. UI/Frontend, Performance, Backend and API
• Experience with (Katalon) AI automation is a Plus
• Experience with Selenium automation is a Plus
• Experience in IBM ELM7 domain (Requirements & Test management) is highly preferred
• Good knowledge with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and logical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate clearly to different type of stakeholders
