The Opportunity:

Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and equipment alternatives, including determining the tooling requirements and sequence of operations necessary for the production of parts. Responsible for operational excellence via efficient process design. Ensure continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production. Manage all engineering projects and resolves engineering problems. Provide input to strategic decisions that affect manufacturing technologies. Resolve escalated issues arising from operations. Manage a team within a discipline or department, typically comprised of career/intermediate professionals or Supervisors.



1.Responsible for preparation of Engineering department budget and control the expenses of his/her department
2.Ensure all utility cost are as per the targeted norms.
3.Ensure Uninterrupted power supply to the plant
4.Complaince to statutory requirements in Engineering department
5.Regular maintenance of plant & Utility equipments& Critical safety equipments
6.Ensure Zero incidents and accidents at site


7. Responsible for ISO, SAP, and other operating system implementation into his department
8. Evaluate the equipment vendors technically and finalize the procurement from them.
9. Monitor the minimum inventory of the critical equipment spares.
10. Responsible for preparing & implementing the safety procedures with respect to chemical handling in the plant.

Education: B.E. / B.Tech. / in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical


Experience: 10-12 years of experience handling plant maintenance in Pharma/Chemical manufacturing industry especially in solvent handling companies, Minimum 5 yrs Team Handling exposure. Project Handling exposure will be preferred.
